Astros are living rent free in the head of New York Yankees & Los Angeles Dodgers fans.

Are the Houston Astros America’s favorite baseball team? The map above would suggest yes. It shows every state’s favorite baseball team based on the team they tweet about the most.

What does the data suggest? The Houston Astros are living rent free in the heads of New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers fans

Can you imagine being a Yankees or Dodgers fan and seeing this graphic. Knowing that your fan base in your own home state has tweeted more about the 2017 World Series Champion, Houston Astros, then their own teams.

Could it have been the Astros beating the Dodgers in the 2017 World Series? Or maybe the Astros eliminating the Yankees from the playoffs in 2017 & 2019. Can this free rent continue ?

Is Brett Favre a member of the Mafia?

If you havent heard by now, Brett Favre is a criminal (allegedly). And also part of the mafia pulling off no show jobs in Mississippi.

As the story states below. The good ol boy from Mississippi was receiving funds for appearances he never made. In the mafia they call those “no show jobs.” Basically, a company will hire you as they would anyone else. You collect a pay check, you pay taxes. The only difference is that you never actually go to work.

From Ap “Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre is repaying $1.1 million in welfare money that he received for multiple speeches where he did not show up, the Mississippi state auditor said Wednesday. Auditor Shad White said his office received $500,000 from Favre on Wednesday, plus a commitment that Favre will repay the other $600,000 in installments over the next few months. Favre’s effort to repay the money came two days after White released an audit of spending by the Mississippi Department of Human Services that showed Favre had been paid by Mississippi Community Education Center, a nonprofit group whose former leader has been indicted in a welfare embezzlement scheme.

As we all know from our time watching Mob movies, these no show jobs are their bread and butter.

Will Aaron Rodgers treat Jordan Love like family?

Last night we had sports! Well kinda, it was the NFL draft and it was fabulous! The Green Bay Packers traded up in the first round to draft Aaron Rodgers replacement, Jordan Love from Utah State. With Rodgers stats declining the last four years, it was only a matter of time before the Packers addressed this sensitive subject. Expect all hell to break lose the next couple years in Green Bay.

Some may remember when the Packers drafted Aaron Rodgers in the first round to replace Brett Favre back in 2005. QBs get old and even the great ones need to be replaced.

I think the question we all need to ask ourselves is…Will Aaron Rodgers treat Jordan Love like family?

Chicago Bears plan to draft Jalen Hurts

Could the Chicago Bears be planning to draft Jalen Hurts ? How about this scenario presented by David Prince, CEO of Bears Twitter.

Ryan Pace could make a big splash at pick #43 drafting Hurts. Then trading down from the 50th pick, gain more picks and build through the draft. This would be a brilliant move from a GM that could be on the hot seat.

What do you think Bears fans ?

Second Round: #43 (From Raiders in Khalil Mack trade), #50

Fourth Round: #140 (compensatory pick)

Fifth round: #163

Sixth Round: #196, #200 (from Eagles in Jordan Howard trade)

Seventh Round: #226 (fom Raiders in Khalil Mack trade),#233

Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls were favored in 185 straight games.

When we think about sports records or streaks, most people think of baseball’s home run record, Brett Favre’s 297 consecutive games started, or Lou Gehrig’s 56 game hit streak. All records that most of us believe will never be broken.

So let’s throw another streak into the mix. From November 1995 to June 1997, the Chicago Bulls were favored in 185 consecutive games. Where do does this rank in greatest streaks ever ?

Dolphins bluff Chargers into trading up for Tua Tagovailoa?

The Chargers haven’t been to the Super Bowl since 1994. When Stan Humphries was the quarterback and Natrone Means was trucking people over in his powder blues!

We at the Mumble believe that Justin Herbert will go #5 to the Miami Dolphins, allowing the versatilite, left handed quarterback from Alabama to fall to the Chargers at 6.

But do the Dolphins have another plan in the works? Could they be sending signals that Tua is their guy, knowing that he is a MUST HAVE for the Chargers? Would the Chargers front office have the marbles to move ahead of the Dolphins to get their guy?

Are the Chargers aware of the mistake Ryan Pace made in 2017 draft? When he was bluffed by the 49ers GM John Lynch, to move up from #3 pick to the #2 pick, even when he didn’t have to. Then he passed on Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson, and drafted Mitchell Trubisky! Sorry Bears fan. Check out the video.

This offseason Los Angeles lost their #1 quarterback Phillip Rivers, who signed with the Colts. They also squandered an opportunity with Melvin Gordon, letting him sign with AFC West division rival Denver Broncos.

So how is Los Angeles preparing for Tua? The Chargers completely rebuilt the right side of their offensive line. Agreeing to a three-year $30 million dollar deal with Bryan Bulaga, who is a right tackle, yes the right tackle that would protect a left handed quarterbacks blind side. Tua Tagovailoa is left handed. Also, trading for respected right guard Trai Turner. That gives them a strong veteran presence to protect their rookie quarterback.

Are these all the signs that Tua Tagovailo is their guy?

What if I told you Miles Sanders is the next Christian McCaffrey of Fantasy Football.

Do you realize how good Miles Sanders is? I don’t think you do. So let me present my case. First, I think it’s important that you know that I am a 4x time fantasy football champion. Please check my Yahoo resume below.

Back to Miles Sanders. If you have seen the film, then you have seen the electric factory this first round pick from Penn State can be. Looking at Sanders rookie season vs McCaffrey’s rookie season. The one stat that sticks out is McCaffrey recorded 113 targets with 80 catches, 5 TD’s and averaged 8.1 yards per reception. Which is an incredible amount of volume. By the way, volume is KING in fantasy football, but that is for another conversation.

Sanders started only 11 games due to injury and a dummy coach. He was able to record 63 targets with 50 catches, 3 TD’s and averaged 10.2 yards per reception. I strongly believe Miles Sanders can be a nice early round sleeper in your Fantasy Draft this year. Possibly even a league winner 🚨

1. Sanders accounted for more rushing yards (818), yards from scrimmage (1,327), and all-purpose yards (1,641) than any first-year player in team history.

2. Sanders’ 1,641 all-purpose yards led all NFL rookies and ranked eighth in the league (fifth in the NFC). The 1,641 all-purpose yards were the most by any Eagles player since LeSean McCoy’s 2,146 in 2013.

3. Sanders’ 1,327 yards from scrimmage led all NFL rookies.

4. Since 2007, Sanders is one of only three NFL rookies to craft at least 1,300 scrimmage yards and 300 return yards joining Adrian Peterson and Alvin Kamara.

5. Sanders took advantage of his expanded role down the stretch. Over the final seven weeks of the season, Sanders was one of just six players (and the only rookie) to post at least 650 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns.

6. Sanders is one of seven rookies in NFL history to account for 800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards. Some of the other names: Gale Sayers, Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James, and Saquon Barkley.

7. Sanders led all rookies with 5.8 yards per touch among running backs with at least 200 touches. That average was good for third among all backs in the NFL.

8. Want explosive plays? Sanders’ 13 plays of 20 or more yards ranked tied for fourth among all NFL running backs.

9. Sanders led all NFL rookie running backs with 50 catches, 509 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. The last Eagles rookie running back to go for at least 50 catches, 500 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns? Brian Westbrook in 2007.
